Sizing Guide - Bra-Sized Swimwear

(Print out our handy Guide to Measuring your Bra size

or use our online BRA SIZE CALCULATOR)

A perfectly fitting bra or bikini top makes you look and feel amazing.  Curves in the right place can transform your figure.  Every woman is unique, so we offer lingerie and swimwear with all cup sizes from A-J.

Historically, bras were made from cotton and linen

BUT

with stretchy, modern fabrics you will find that you don't need to add inches to your band size using traditional measuring methods to get the perfect fit.  We always advise customers to be professionally fitted and brands do vary.  (Your bra size can change , too, depending on weight and body shape changes).  The Lazeme bra fitting guide will give you advice on how to choose the right fitting bra or swim top.

Quite often swim tops only have one size setting rather than the 3 hook and eye fastening you would normally find on a bra.  This means that the band size is particularly important to get correct for swimwear as there may not be adjustment.

Tips on telling if you're wearing the right size:

Your bra or swimwear should fit snugly under your breasts at the root of your breast on the loosest clasp fitting to allow for give with wash and wear.

You should be able to fit 2 fingers underneath the back band but no more or it's too big.

The centre of the bra or swimwear should sit flat on the middle of your chest inbetween your boobs without a gap.

Have you heard about the best way to put on a bra?

The best way to get a comfortable fit is to remember to:

first, fasten the back of the bra (if the bra is new it should fasten on the loosest hook)

then, lean forward at the waist so that you can adjust the bra band to the base of your bust and not on top of your boobs!

still leaning forwards - do a little jiggle so that your boobs fall into the cups and are encased by the bra

stand upright and scoop the breast tissue into the bra cups

finally, adjust the straps so they are comfortable but not digging in (support for the bust should come from the band and not the straps)
