I love an underwired bra, I love the support, the lift and the shape they give to my large bust but I also suffer with some chronic pain & illness which means I can often find they dig in and be rather uncomfortable. This meant I began to look for an alternative. Bralettes are massively 'on trend' at the moment so I figured this would be a fairly easy ask but boy was I wrong! I wanted something without wires that actually fitted me and still offered some support but it was a search that threw up very few results until Panache released Andorra!
I swear they must have heard me praying for a solution to my bra quest when they designed it. Based on their popular wired style of the same name, Andorra is a cup sized (D-H) non wired bra. It has hook & eye fastening and the fabric is a pretty delicate lace & is currently available in blush pink. The bra is made of four parts with sling support which means it still gives lift and shape to heavy breasts. The straps have a soft fabric on the underside which makes them super comfortable on the skin, this is something I very much appreciate when my pain levels are high. The upper section of the cup is stretch lace which makes it perfect for wearing during hormonal fluctuations.
I had to get a 38H (I normally wear 38HH/36J) which means I do get some “overspill” in the cups but I would definitely describe this bra as true to size. The band is very comfortable and you should order your usual size. I would love Panache to extend this range to a J cup which is in line with their wired version. Overall though I am hugely impressed. Andorra is exactly what I wanted in a soft cup bra. Comfortable enough to wear at home when enjoying lazy days/chill time but supportive enough to wear every day too. Thank you Panache, you’ve made this girl very happy indeed.
